Makes my Kindle even better
With my skin case, my kindle is not only protected but I love the stand. I take my kindle every where I go. Plus pink is my favorite color

Adds protection & color
I bought the blue skin case. Before this product I had tried to use a cover to read the kindle. I really didn't like the added bulk of doing that. It felt to much like I was reading a hardback with the added weight. I have tried reading the kindle without a case but the hard edges on the bottom hurt my hands in no time. This case adds very little weight to reading the device. Its softens up those hard edges and provides protection to the kindle. Plus adding color to the boring white is nice too. I would definately recommend this case to any one who prefers to read the kindle out of its case but would like some added cushioning. I still use the m-edge case I bought for storing the kindle because you really still need something to put the kindle in when not reading. This case doesn't provide any real protection against the screen getting scratched.

Protects Kindle Without Added Weight or Bulk
I have purchased silicone skins for iPods and iPhones because they protect the items covered from dings, scratches and nicks when I toss them into a tote, purse or briefcase. This product provides the same protection for the Kindle and, because their is no extra bulk,the Kindle still fits inside of the case which accompanies it (which is important as the skin does not protect the Kindle screen). Unlike some other skins I have purchased (the skin for my iPod comes to mind) where I have needed extra hands to guide the skin on and to adjust it properly, I had no such difficulty with the skin for the Kindle. As an added bonus, and as another reviewer had mentioned, the skin muffles the clicking sound of the page keys.

Cover to cover
Love my Kindle. Love it better with a cover. Helps keep the Kindle clean. It's a tiny bit thicker than I realized it was going to be so you definitely need to flick the power buttons with the edge of your fingernail, not the pad of your finger. I love the built-in book stand. At first, I though the stand would be useless and it seemed so flimsy. But with my Kindle cover open (the black one that comes with the Kindle), the book stand and silicone skin combine to grip the textured open cover perfectly and stand my Kindle up for hands-free reading. Next, we will be seeing Kindle users buying Christmas patterns for their skins and Halloween costumes for their Kindle!! LOL. *Oh, not me. I'd never do anything that silly!!*
